In this strategy, the foreign national’s company will have the freehold land registered under the company name. With one of the company investors/owners eligible for up to 49 percent, two or more foreign national shareholders are allowed. The company’s managing director (i.e., the foreign national) will have power over voting and other shares, as well as full control of the property.
